The people who serve
Leadership at the Harrisonville Church of Christ
A Church of Christ is overseen by its own elders, taught by an evangelist, and served by deacons. There is no outside hierarchy. These are the members who serve here.

Isaac Moreno
Evangelist
Isaac serves as the evangelist for the congregation. He obeyed the gospel in 2018, was ordained in 2022, and has preached across the United States and abroad.

Jim Bradford
Elder
Jim serves as an elder of the congregation. Baptized in 1968, he and his family made Harrisonville their church home in 2003, and he was ordained in 2023.

Larry Bradford
Elder
Larry serves as an elder of the congregation. Baptized in 1973, he has shared in the work of the church in Harrisonville since 1993 and was ordained in 2023.
How is a Church of Christ organized?
Each congregation is independent and self-governing. Qualified men called elders, also described in Scripture as shepherds or overseers, watch over the spiritual welfare of the group. Deacons attend to practical needs, from benevolence to the care of the building. An evangelist, sometimes called the preacher, teaches publicly and studies with people one-on-one. This is the simple structure the New Testament describes, with no office above the local congregation.
